Triumph Speed Triple 955i - In the best colour they did

Got this new from Metropolis Motorcycles in London new in September 2000.

It's without doubt one of my favorite bikes of all time.

Bike had the genuine Triumph high level can fitted from the start with the engine remapped to match.

The engine and exhaust tone are superb and unmistakably a triple.

To date I've not had any real trouble with the machine. I'd had some trouble with batteries early on, but it's fine with Motobatt's. .

I have a standard Triumph Grab rail and also a Rack for the bike, but these are only fitted when I need them.

Fitted a Rhencullen undertray, which they colour matched to the roulette green (lime green to everyone else). Requires the old rear guard to be cut away, but apart from that it's a fairly straight forward fitting and makes the bike a lot cleaner looking at the back as well as making it easier to work on the rear end of the machine.

Fitted a carbon hugger to stop all the crap flying around. This one's made by Art and bolts straight on.

Bike is a few years old now, it still goes great, still gets lots of attention when out and about and still bags of fun. You can ride it just about anywhere as it's happy on the open motorways and it's high bars means it's almost Supermoto style when you want it to be on the back lanes.
